Inauguration Ceremony

Coimbatore Smart City Lake rejuvenation projects, Boating & Website inagurated by Shri. Kumaravel Pandian I.A.S at 2.00pm.
Smart City Project in Coimbatore has been undertaken for the last 2-3 years. Under the project Smart City Parks have been set up at the 5 lakes in Coimbatore.
The District Commissioner said that the Smart City Project was inaugurated in Coimbatore last year by Chief Minister Edappadi Palanisamy, under which the works were carried out in Periyakulam, Valankulam, Krishnampathy, Selvampathy, Kumaraswamy and Selvachinthamani ponds and which is opened for public use from today.
Speaking to reporters after the meeting, Corporation Commissioner Kumaravel Pandian said that the park has been updated with facilities for walking, cycling along with children's play and requested the public’s help to keep the ponds clean.
